Simplex weight

In the same way triangles have three edges and three nodes, an n-simplex contains multiple (n-1)-simplics, (n-2)-simplices, ..., edges, and nodes. The simplices that are part of a larger simplex are called faces. This plot shows every simplex in a simplicial complex as a white dot, grouped by simplex size (nodes at the bottom, 5-simplices at the top), and then links together with pink curves those simplices that are faces of larger simplices.

  • Slide the input to adjust which simplices are visualized. The visualization will update to draw only those simplices with an associated weight less than the slider value.
